Madeira Vintners Reserve 5 Year Old Listrão

This sweet Madeira is quite different from a Malmsey. It has an excitingly pungent nose, with iodine and kelp nuances. Full-bodied, the palate is smooth but powerful, with honey, dried fruits, orange peel and salted smoked almond undertones and well- integrated acidity.

100% Listrão (a.k.a. Palomino Fino)

Grapes from the neighbouring island of Porto Santo were picked by hand and rigorously sorted in the winery. After fermentation and fortification, the wine was transferred to mature for 5 years in used cognac, brandy and Sherry casks, using the traditional “canteiro” process.

Serve at 13-14°C
