Collection: Madeira

Closer to Africa than Portugal, this island’s mild, sub-tropical climate and fertile soil are key to producing fortified wines of eye-popping intensity and age-ability. Malleable and much more widely grown, red grape Tinta Negra is made in the a spectrum of styles and sweetness levels. Top examples are made from the island’s precious white grapes: Sercial (dry), Verdelho (Medium Dry), Boal/Bual (Medium Sweet), Malvasia/Malmsey Sweet.
