Founded in 2010 by Pedro Ribeiro whilst he was an assistant winemaker at Herdade dos Grous, Bojador allowed him to explore making talha wines from old field blend vineyards. A passion he has also pursued at Herdade do Rocim, which he joined in 2013. The talha wines at Rocim and Bojador are from the same sub-region(Vidigueira) and broadly made from the same old field blend varieties but, from different vineyards, they are intriguingly different. Bojador talha wines tend to be a little spicier and more rustic. Try them side by side and see for yourself!
