Precision is the word that springs to mind when I think of Jorge Moreira and his wines. And it would seem it is in his winemaking DNA. In 1996, he made his first red wine whilst working at Real Companhia Velha in the Douro. Rather improbably, it was a Cabernet Sauvignon. The talented winemaker returned to the company as Technical Director in 2010. In and amongst (indeed still), he has been making wines for Quinta de la Rosa and, since 2001, his own baby, Poeira.
