Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby colour, ripe red fruit, forest and minty notes and pleasant hints of leather. The oak is well integrated bringing sweet and smoked spices, all set against a limestone background. In the mouth it is seductive and refined, with body and captivating freshness and structure. It's robust but its tannins are delicate. Long finish and great ageing potential in the bottle.

The grapes were harvested manually, with field selection, into small boxes of 20kg. In the cellar, after new qualitative manual selection grapes were destemmed and the crushing – passive – was the result of the transportation to the deposit. It was performed one and a half days of pre-fermentative maceration. Fermentation took place in stainless-steel vats at controlled temperature of 25ºC. The malolactic transformation took place in a cement deposit. The wine aged in used French oak casks (87%) and used American oak casks (13%), from October 2017
